Fairlawns Boutique Hotel and Spa, Johannesburg are thrilled to unveil thier latest addition to the hotel's charm – the Drawing Room, a reimagined space where creativity comes to life and transformed into an artistic haven. This room offers a unique showcase of South Africa's burgeoning young talent and boasts stunning pieces of art.

“The Drawing Room” originates from the 16th century when it was called the "withdrawing room," a place where guests could retreat for private conversations or relaxation. Assisted by renowned art curator Tyron Selmon, of Art Eye, Fairlawns presents a collection of art pieces, available for both admiration and acquisition. Managing Director, Michael Kewley's vision goes beyond mere decoration; he aims to offer guests an opportunity to explore and acquire sophisticated art pieces that transcend the boundaries of conventional tourist art.

By hand-picking each featured artwork, Kewley ensures that guests experience a curated journey through artistic expression. This venue serves as an ideal setting for business meetings, private celebrations, or intimate gatherings. With a capacity to host private meals for 20 people or cocktails for 35, it offers a versatile space for various occasions.
