Today, Ol Lentille introduces a new way to experience its 40,000 acres of wilderness: the Ol Lentille Fly Camp.
This is safari stripped back to its most meaningful elements — still comfortable, still hosted with care, but intentionally closer to the earth, the night sky, and the stories that have shaped this landscape for generations.
A Camp Hidden in the Conservancy
The Fly Camp sits in a secret corner of the conservancy, chosen for its views, its solitude, and its sense of discovery. It’s rustic in the right ways and comfortable where it matters.

During the evening:
Local elders join guests around the campfire, sharing stories, traditions, and the oral histories passed down through generations
A Maasai star reader — part of a lineage of celestial interpreters — guides guests through the night sky, explaining how stars have long been used to understand past events and anticipate those yet to come
It’s an intimate, absorbing encounter with culture that is still lived, still practiced, and still deeply respected.
Morning in a Wild, Untouched Corner of Laikipia
Before sunrise, guests head out on an early morning game drive in a seldom-visited part of the conservancy. Wildlife is at its most active, and the sense of exploration is palpable — this is Ol Lentille at its rawest and most beautiful.
